A Day In the World – Picture Today Inspire Tomorrow!

On May 15,  ADAY asked people around the world to document a single day.

Of over 100,000 photographs submitted from 165 countries, 1000 have been selected by an international panel for this book – A Day In the World.” ( my minor contribution to this phenomenal project is on page 140)

“Published simultaneously around the globe, this book is a record of a massive cohesion between the world’s peoples around an idea: this is who we are, this is what we were doing and this is what we cherish – all in one single day.”

*In the spring of 2013, all images from (were) preserved in a time capsule (and) placed deep down in Falun Copper Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For future generations to explore.
